Our Lakeland Blue Slate features deep blue-grey tones that darken beautifully when wet, creating a stylish and contemporary finish. Available in both 20mm and 40mm sizes, these natural slate chippings are ideal for pathways, borders, rockeries and landscaping projects.
Lakeland Blue Slate is a premium decorative slate featuring rich blue-grey tones with occasional delicate white calcite veining, creating a striking and contemporary appearance. Available in both 20mm and 40mm sizes, this natural slate is ideal for pathways, borders, rockeries and feature areas.
The slate darkens beautifully when wet, helping to enhance its natural colour and texture throughout the year. Slightly thicker than some other slate chippings, the 20mm size is suitable for driveways as well as pathways and decorative areas, whilst the 40mm size is ideal for larger feature areas and rockeries.
Coverage: Covers approximately 10-12m² at 40-50mm depth.
Recommended depth is 40-50mm for pathways and decorative areas. We recommend the 20mm size for driveways.

We deliver Monday - Friday. Delivery for bulk bags is via a 18 tonne Hiab lorry which is 12 meters long 4 meters high and 3 meters wide. Delivery made off the side of the lorry only and up to 8 meters from kerbside. Any deliveries made off the main highway will be completed at customers own risk and liability.

Pre-orders close every Tuesday at 1pm. Orders placed before this cut-off are delivered within 2–3 working days (typically Thursday or Friday the same week).
Orders placed after the Tuesday 1pm cut-off will be scheduled for delivery the following week. Please allow up to 7 working days for delivery in these cases.

If anything arrives damaged or incorrect, refuse the delivery and contact us straight away — we'll arrange a replacement or refund promptly.Once goods have been accepted, we're unable to accept returns due to the nature of bulk materials.
